I have a tape/record stero that only plays 33 and 45s. Do they sell something that I can add to it that will play 78's? As I work at a thrift store and I see a lot of them and would like to buy them but have no way to play them.

I am applying to a job to work at a cafeteria worker at the high school in town. My question is I have another job and have to rely on transportation to get to work. I plan to call them Tuesday and if they want me to come to an interview on Tuesday I wont be able to get a ride on that short notice and plus I have to work later in the day and wont get out until 8:30. I do not want to call out for an interview as if I do not get the job that means I loose a days pay. What could I say to them so it wont seem like I am unreliable? The high school is right down the street from where I work so I could have an interview another day of the week and either get dropped off at the high school then walk to work or when I work in the morning I can go after work.

I had no problem in the past when I told the interviewer about a pre planned vacation but this is a school and not retail all the jobs that had no problem with his were retail jobs.

I have a job interview for Spencers on Thursday. The dress code is casual But I want to look nice and casual. I am sure a t shirt and jeans wont cut it.

I want to go to church every Sunday. But since they are short handed they wont let me take off a few hours for church. I am not asking for the whole day off just a few hours off for church.It says in the hand book will accommodate around religion. Isn't it a law where they are supposed to accommodate for religion?

I had a total of 4 jobs in the past 2 years. I went from a job I hated to a job that promised me certain hours then only gave me 5 hours then to A job I loved but then became to fast paced and could not handle so I went to the job I am at now. The job I want has the hours I want. And people keep telling me that with my history of job jumping that they will not hire me as they want someone who is committed to a job. The job I have now is mostly nights and weekends. And I do not get to spend much time with my husband. Also I am very active in my church and do not want to give up bell choir as bell choir is really the only time we get to spend together. Plus the job I am at now is not giving me the benefits they promised me.

I have bad credit and applied for a credit card to improve my credit score. I also use my debit card A lot and put it through as credit. Someone one told if I use my debit card as credit it can help improve my score is that true?

My husband and I plan to remodel our home in the next few years. The problem is he has good credit I have bad credit due to a debt I am paying off. I could not even get approved for a credit card. So I had to my husband add me as an authorized user to his card to start to build a credit history. I would like to use my income for a loan approval as I am sure the more income coming in the more they will approve the loan. It is a part time job and I do not make that much money but still it is income. He is the main income earner in the house. My question is would the good credit out way the bad credit?

My husband and I are going to Niagara Falls in the fall we are staying in the New York side. I plan to make a play list and I need 5 or more hours worth of music. I am 28 years old and never had any type of credit. But I want to build some credit. I applied for a capital one card and it got declined. I plan on applying for one through my bank and if that gets denied I plan to have the Secured one through capital one. As the rep form Capital one suggested that Someone told me it will hurt my score if I apply for more then 2 in a month to wait 30 days to apply again I get denied the one my bank offers. Only bills I have in my name are my medical bills. I have no rent or mortgage I only have to pay property taxes. I live with a family member as the house I live in was inherited and already paid so that’s why we only have to pay property taxes. I really do not want to apply for a store credit card as I heard they have high interest rates and not good for someone who has no credit. What are good ways to get credit if these 2 credit cards get denied? Would it be ok to apply for the 3rd one today if I get denied at the bank or should I wait a month if I get denied at the bank?

We had a bag of groceries and some laundry soap spilled on my Jello box and some spilled onto the package inside. Do you think it is still safe to make it and eat it? As I am making it for a party next week? The package smells a little like soap.

My bathroom has some black mildew it is not a lot. But I want to clean it as I am having company over for the Holidays and it will be very embarrassing for them to see that. I have a bottle of Murphy's soap oil do the trick? Or do I need to use something else? I am living on a tight budget right now so I really do not want to spend a lot of money on cleaning products.

I have a dyson vacuum and the brush always gets caked with hair. We cleaned the brush like 2 months ago and and its caked. What causes hair to build up in the brush. I mean its not like I brush my hair with the vaccum brush. What could I do to prevent the hair from building up?
