Question about my vaccum?

It would be human hair as well as hair from any pets you have. You need to vacuum the hair off the brush every time you have used your vacuum cleaner.

At one time I had 7 long haired dogs....really long hair Now down to just two. I laugh when you say you clean the brush every two months.....how about every time you vacuum! Dyson is one of the better ones for hair......don't get an Oreck! Anyway, how I handle it is ever day I take a hand vacuum.......the type you push around, no motor. The brush picks up an amazing amount of hair which is easily cleaned from the brush.....they even have little combs on some models to help with the hair removal. "vacuuming" goes quickly and keeps the total hair accumulation at the real vacuuming time to a less damaging amount. When I do Dyson.....I have a comb. After I remove the waste tube, I turn the machine on its side and check the brush. If getting hair, I comb it. 15 second, ok maybe 30. If I was stronger I'd turn the machine on it's head for cleaning but those days are gone.

I have long hair that I have learned to brush outside of my apt. Do you have dogs.....I have 3 and must brush them daily to cut down on the loose hair from falling out. I also have a black and white kitchen and the black rug is a challenge. Good luck.
