Did you ever notice how Republicans only want to change voter ID laws just BEFORE a big election?

and not soon AFTER, when everyone would have plenty of time to adjust to the changes?

Update:

NO ONE wants voter fraud and trying "for years" to correct for it is GREAT!

But republicans seem to come up with these "new ideas about how", just before elections.

Voter fraud is only a FRACTION of 1% nationwide, so it's not a deal breaker for a candidate anyhow.

But I've just noticed how it's always REPUBLICANS who are behind 11th hour changes in the rules.

Yes, and only in swing states with republican leadership. Strange coincidence!

The reason there is little evidence of voter fraud at the polls on Election Day is because the fraud was committed long ago with the fraudulent voter registration.

Groups that commit the fraud know the names of their fraudulently registered people accepted by the voter registrar. On Election Day the paid voter goes in to vote using the name of the phony person.

Thus with list in hand 60 people on a bus can vote at 10 different voting locations under 600 different names that were registered years ago. In large cities with hundreds of polling places one is only restricted by time and polling places available.

With voter ID to complete the task above would require 600 ID cards and violate multiple laws. Voter ID forces each registration on the voters list to prove it is real.

When the citizens of AZ wanted voter Id they had to battle the Democrats for years all the way to the State Supreme Court.(not just before an election as you imply) Once voter Id was the law of the land everyone had to reregister. One did so by simply signing and mailing back a prepaid postcard that was mailed to every address that was a registered voter in the state. 35,000 cards were not returned and or the post office found them to be false addresses and undeliverable. NONE of these 35,000 voters complained at being taken off the voting rolls.

Unchallenged a phony registration is a democrat vote.

PS. States offer ID for those extreme cases of people who do not have any form of ID.

In yet yet another voter suppression attempt, Republicans are curiously engaged on attempting to assign Electoral college votes interior the severe states by employing congressional district. regrettably for them, absolutely everyone seems to be paying interest. Their efforts could run afoul of the vote casting Rights Act and can set off the reversal of their complete gerrymandering efforts.

  • Like what the Democrats did in Florida when George Bush ran the first time or in Louisiana when Mary Landrieu won her Senate seat the first time. Both parties are lying crooks and all of them should be voted out and we start over with a whole different group. Maybe they will get the idea we are tired of their BS then.

Show us the proof or eat your bloody hat (if obama-parasite-care gives you enough for a hat too). Personally, I want all who violate voting regulations, to be in prison for at the least a week, working as streetscleaning crew. Got it?

Wake up! The Republicans have been scheming about voter suppression, stealing elections and gaining a security state for over 30 years.

Actually this was all started last year. The lawsuits from the white house is responsible for delaying its implemintation.

Blame Eric Holder not the states that instituted their laws to protect legal resident and make sure that their votes counted.

It is because the focus is on the election now, it works just like every other piece of legislation works,.

Voter ID will prevent the dead from voting as happened in 2008. It will prevent bussing people to vote in different states as happened in 2008. It will prevent illegals from voting as happened in 2008.

The reason the liberals hate this is they were all voting for the illegal now in the White House.

"Changed? Isn't this like the fast food restaurants who announced their prices have "changed" instead of gone up?

The fact is that Republicans want what is right and fair, and Democrats want their sickos elected because of bad ID laws, with illegal people and dead people signed up to vote.

Yes. And there was no concern about voter fraud in all the GOP primaries. They're hypocrites and bullshit artists.
