How do I lose weight as a teen?
Please read! I'm a sophomore now 15 184lbs 5'8.5 almost 5'9 20lbs over weight I've asked this before but I always quit & SERIOUSLY need your help. I look pretty average but do have a big belly thin arms slightly big thighs I have p.e. class everyday except Monday for at least an hour HELP

Losing 10 lbs a month is a good and safe target. Any faster weight loss is likely to be temporary only and in most cases you regain it all.
Running, jogging, cycling, swimming, dancing, push ups, sit ups, squats, brisk walking and power walking all help for weight loss but dieting helps more.
You can always eat negative calorie foods for weight loss and below is a list of negative calorie foods that will boost your metabolism.
Negative Calorie Fruits:
apples
cranberries
grapefruit
lemons
mangoes
oranges
pineapple
raspberries
strawberries
tangerines
Negative Calorie Vegetables:
asparagus
beets

have a good friend that likes to exercise work out with you
tell them you want them to force you to work out with them
but you have to want to do it too they will just help motivate you along the way
also never never never eat food late at night
if you can avoid eating anything after 5 pm no matter how hungry you get it will really help you

odds are you re eating too fast try holding a conversation while having a meal so you re not gulping down more than you need to feel full

If you want it bad enough then you will work for it. Eat healthy and exercise is the only way, any others can be detrimental to your health.

do your grocery shopping with a list and a time limit that way you re less likely to stray into the processed foods section
