I have mastoiditis, I was diagnosed today?

I was diagnosed today. I have pain all over my head, my right ear has been bothering me alot, and i lose my hearing at times. My ear just feels strange. I have major headaches, migraines, pain in the right side of my face and down my neck. I have a fever off and on, and I have fainted a few times.

I feel dizzy alot. I have not had an ear infection that I know of, I have not been treated for any infection in years. I was in a car accident and I wonder if that caused this. My only concern is what types of treatment there are, and will I fully recover, how dangerous can this be. I am seeing a specialist on saturday.
