Electrical systems in the Air Force?

I'm in a high school votech program for electrical but I still have to go to tech school to get an electrians journeyman license after I graduate. If I join the Air Force in electrical systems, will be a licensed electrician when I'm discharged? I can't get a straight answer online. I'm from Massachusetts if that makes a difference

Nope. You would still have to go through your states licensing program, submit all your training, school, experience, etc. They will then determine if you need to do further time as an apprentice, if you need further training, and if/when you will be lic. Every state is different and rules change, so what may be true today, maybe different in 4 years.

Just like with my teaching lic. Every state we move to I have to jump through their hoops and do what I need to do to get lic in that state. My MIL does the same thing with her dental hygienist lic.
