Reinstalling drivers windows 7 without CD?

I have another problem, as said in my previous post I'm reinstalling one of my HD's with windows vista. The reason I'm doing this is because EVERY single driver on my windows 7 HD was wiped. I installed KIES (samsung smartphone software) and poof, every single driver gone. My graphics, my sound, my CD/DVD drivers, ALL of them. Is there any way to fix this w/o having to use the windows 7 DVD? My PC was made at a store and he programmed the PC so the DVD wasn't included. I can go back and pay him but since I've already payed for the PC once I'm not really planning on paying for another windows 7 package + that shop is rather far away. I'd love a solution I can attempt from here. My friends told me to buy the DVD again and install it but I'm a poor student and I don't really plan on spending my going-out money for a month on windows 7 :S

I'm confused as to which one you are trying to reinstall. Is it Windows 7 or Vista? Or maybe you are trying to overwrite on your Vista hard drive with Windows 7.

Can you not download and reinstall the Windows 7 drivers for your hardware? They should be available from the hardware manufacturer's website. If you don't know what hardware you have open up the tower and see what motherboard make and model you have. That should give you a clue.

Another option is by opening Device Manager and allow the OS to detect the hardware and install generic drivers.

Actually, you don't need to buy another OS if you already have a valid one. All you need is an installer disc but of course you must have a genuine product key to activate the OS if you have to reinstall it. If you don't know what your product key is, extract it from the registry with this:

    http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/product_cd_key_viewer...

List it down on paper. Email it to yourself as well.

By the way, what Windows version (32 or 64-bit) and edition do you have there? Send me an email with more details as I might not be able to come back to this question. Note that you have to enable your email on Y!A to be able to email other members here like me.

    Hi,

Get the drivers down from the internet or borrow a friends W7 cd.
