What is the best way to find home for cats?

Hey guys, so I have 4 cats I need to get rid of ASPA. :( There was a stray pregnant female around my neighborhood that I fed and eventually when I saw she was going to have kittens I trapped her on my back porch. The kittens are now about 6 months old and have been nurtured and de-wormed just in case. I posted them up a while ago and had no takers. Now I am moving to Texas and the house will not accept cats, although I may try and sneak in 1 or 2. :D anyway they are all very friendly and good with large dogs and kids but idk where to find someone that wants cats! There are so many out there already. I don't want any money for them just for them to get good homes and not to become snake or dog food.

Any advice would be great, thank you!!

You better ask money for them! People take care of what they pay for.

There are people called "bunchers" who scour ads for free animals. The in turn sell them for medical research.

There are people who take free animals and use them as bait for training their fighting dogs.

These people some times show up looking like grandma, sweet and so sad that your animal would be the perfect gift for her dear granddaughter Suzy but she just can't afford the cost. So you give it to her. If she can't afford the cost then how does she afford quality food or to take it to the vet? Don't fall for a line like that. The animal will wind up food for a python or killed by fighting dogs.

Your best bet is to take them to a no-kill shelter or to SPCA. Do a write up on the cats, the more they know the easier it is to find a home for them. People go to the shelter looking for a cat that likes dogs there aren't alot of those but yours would fill the bill so write about that. All the positives that are true, their ages, what medical things have been done and how you got them and what vet they went to. People love sob stories about a cat and it makes them feel good to "rescue" one and give it all the love it never got starting out. Trust me about that, we never sugar coat the animal's story at our rescue. People feel sorry or it and take it home to make it's life better and that's what we want.

Take them to a shelter - people looking for cats are more likely to go there than to someone they dont' know.

how about trapping her before she got pregnant and spend some money in neutering instead cat food??? love people that believe they do some good to the animals and just do the wrong!
