Which is better my ACT or SAT scores? Which types of schools can I get into?

I'm a senior in high school, and my guidance counselor hasn't been very helpful (whenever I suggest a college, he tells me it's a "great choice!" without any advice on whether or not I could actually get in.) My parents aren't great with this kind of stuff, so I decided to ask other people's opinions :)

SAT:

Writing 760

Reading 730

Math 690

Total: 2180

ACT

Reading 36

Writing 34

Science 31

Math 25

Total 32

GPA: 3.5 (bad grades freshman year.) I'm taking 5 AP classes this year, however. The rest have been honors classes.

I am really not sure where I want to apply, but if anyone has a general idea of what types of schools I could get into, that would be great...? Also: I got a scholarship from taking the MCAs that told me I could go to UMASS for free. This would be great, because cost is a pretty big problem for me. Would I get into UMASS? I've heard it's getting harder and harder to get into, because more and more people want to go there.

Thank you for anyone who helps!! :)

You can get a sense of a college typical incoming freshmen stats here https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/find-colleges

also, in your case, i would absolutely send both. even though they will technically only use one, the fact that you mastered two difficult and very different entrance tests will help give your app the wow factor.

medical college is in many situations began when you get your 4 three hundred and sixty 5 days degree and not something from intense college is taken in to attention. There are some, Brown has one, courses that make it easier to do a 6-7 three hundred and sixty 5 days mixed application on the instant out of highschool, yet those are purely some and you may opt to ascertain with the colleges. To get into medical college "particularly" you have a 4.0 in college, study adventure, volunteer adventure in wellbeing care, and a 40+ (out of 40 5) on your MCAT, and English as your first language. yet back here in fact they take many pupils with a diverse combination of reviews. the aspects that gets them to even evaluate your application is a intense college GPA and a intense MC AT (a minimum of over 30, ideally over 35, counting on your GPA).

As for your SAT/ACT scores, they are pretty much equal, but an ACT 32 = SAT 2130, so I would go with the SAT, but it's really almost the same. And colleges primarily look at GPA and coursework.
