This is not a joke. Can you help me?
I received an e-mail yesterday stating it was from "Howie Mandel" the title read "You have been selected to be o..." I have no idea if I should open this or if it could have a virus attached. Has anyone heard anything about a virus being sent via e-mail from Howie Mandel? I am curious about what the e-mail is about but not curious enough to risk having my computer destroyed because of a nasty virus. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

Trust me... It's a virus. Viruses can be put as attachments on emails. Opening the email itself (should) be safe but DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. Besides, howie mandel would never randomly send out an email to someone saying you won something you never entered. Hope I helped :)

if you don't know the person, or not familiar as to where the email may come from, don't open it. Maybe go to a public library and check the email there. That way you are opening it on a different computer (which tons of people go on everyday). That is if you are that curious. Otherwise, just delete it.

If you were chosen for anything, they would have given you a phone call. Do NOT open the mail, 99% it will be a virus.

lf it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Don't open it - l highly doubt that Howie is trying to get in touch with you.

Yep, it is a virus. Do not open it. Get rid of it immediately.
