How lame would it be to start RAW off with a "By the way, we have a new Champion and you don't get to see the match. Watch Ziggler pin Sheamus on an airplane?"
The fans came to see a show, they would obviously rather watch an actual match. That's what they paid for. If they wanted to watch Ziggler winning the title on the titantron they could have just stayed at home and saw it on TV.

No it says he can cash it in for a match at any WWE event. The flight over is not a WWE event. Plus the match would need to be inside a ring.
