Which Sound Card would you Recommend?

As per mention in a co-current question of mine, i'm currently looking to buy a Sound Card to replace the On-Board Sound in the coming week, my budget is £25 at maximum, although the lower the cost the better, providing it's good value for money of course.

So, which would YOU (best Kirchner face XD) recommend to buy?

Basic PC Stat's:

Motherboard: ASUS P4P800 - VM/S

Operating System: Windows XP Professional

Processor: Pentium IV

Processor Output: 2.4 GHZ

RAM: 1GB (1024MB)

Note: My Desktop Case is only 16.5'' (long) by 13.1/8'' (wide) by 4'' (high), so the Soundcard must be a "Low Profile" type in order to fit.

    hi

your memory, processor speed and OS do not support the latest/fastest sound cards.

There are tons out there for your budget, I would look for one that support your OS system only and not much above so that you do not overkill your computer and use up all resources just to run sound.

(no soun cards that support windows 7 for example)

    cheers
