It always comes down to what is best for you. Would you rather have a baby and take some time off during school, or right when you jump into a new career? You can always take a semester off with school, the job field isn't so nice when it comes to maternity leave despite what people think. Sure, they have to let you take leave, but they don't have to promise that you won't miss out on promotion opportunities.
