Best sim free phone for under £300?
I have a sim only phone contract and I'm looking for a phone to go with it, but I'm not sure what the best one is that I can get for my money. My budget is £300 or under and the phone must be unlocked.
I'd like it to have a good camera (at least 5MP) preferably with panorma mode and some funky effects. It must have a decent music player as I am condensing all my gadgets into one. And to that end, I'd like it to have at least 16GB storage (I had a HTC one V which is loved but 4GB just isn't enough) I'd like it to be fairly small - anything smaller than the HTC One X or Galaxy Note is good.
I would prefer it to run android but iOS and windows are fine too. I do quite a lot of web browsing/emailing on my phone so something that is decent for that and has an integrated ability to share photos etc to Facebook would be great. And finally, I text a lot so just something that is easy to text on. Is this possible for under £300?
Does anyone have any suggestions? :)
By 'sim free' I meant an unlocked phone :)

lumia 800
amazing build quality it just feels high end and premium in your hand and it's very durable
it's made from a single piece of polycarbonate and it's also made in a way that for example if you buy the cyan version and you scratch or hit it the color after that would stay cyan
the screen is a 3.7" screen with Nokia clear black display so that means colors and text look amazing on it and that also means you can easily see in direct sunlight so you won't have to higher the screen brightness
and it's made in a way that makes everything seem as if it is floating on the screen
the camera is an 8 megapixle camera which takes amazing photos and videos
it has Carl Zeiss optics and it also has the Nokia added features like group shot, panorama shot and burst shot
what group shot allows you to do is to capture the perfect moment so for example if you are taking a photo of 2 people and you blink you will be able to rewind the time till when they were still smiling
the web browser is extremely good and very fast
the phone handles mail in a very good way
you've got a huge number of high quality apps and you also got the Nokia added free exclusive apps like Nokia drive,Nokia maps,Nokia city,Nokia lens,Nokia beta,Nokia music,Nokia creative studio, espn, espn radio,CNN,viber HD. and many more
battery life on the phone is very good and would easily get you through a full day of heavy use on a full charge
the whole os on the phone is amazing and it runs smooth and fast and it's also faster in everyday use than iOS and android
hope I helped :)
tell me if you decided to get it

One phone comes in my mind, Samsung Galaxy S III. I think it's the best phone around your budget. HTC One X is definitely a great choice but Samsung Galaxy S III is better. If you need Samsung Galaxy S III or HTC One X factory unlocked cheaper, mail me to yanastorff@yahoo.com

We aren't Rome, we're America. If we "give" anything away it's because majority rules. We live by standards and practices the rest of the world can only dream about. September 11 was our darkest hour, September 12, one of our brightest, when we banded together for the common good. America will not fall. We will prevail...that's what we do. I would rather be on a list than not here at all.

Pick up the HTC one X for less than £300 from Ebay.
Otherwise go for the HTC Desire X, seems to have most things you would want.
