Will cutting PBS funding really balance our budget?

PBS is only one of the many government programs that the GOP has on the chopping block.

It seems to me that the audacious all or nothing GOP attack plan is getting much support.

Greed Over People, lack of compassion, and total disregard for the former legislators that created these programs is the theme.

there were two Democratic programs started by president Johnson that the Republicans have sworn to destroy. Medicare and PBS. Don't think for a moment Medicare is safe if Big Bird is sacrificed.

as to budgets, it's like Clinton said, it all comes down to arithmetic. once you shake out the fairy dust, there is only one plan that reduces the deficit after adding up the details. you can call it the new Romney plan or the old Obama plan, it turns out to be the same.

PBS over the years has had some real truth-seekers like Bill Moyers and still does Tavis Smiley, this is what RobMe don't want or like," journalist speaking truth to power." Direct answer to your question is "NO" cutting funding to PBS will help the Corporations carry-out even more effective Brain-washing via the Main scheme media if PBS is forced out of business or compromised/bought-out by the Capitalist The Republicans have this plot well in place already with the USPS or a set-up to privatize the U.S. Post Office by forcing them into Bankruptcy etc.

Wow you apparently have never had to balance a budget or you'd know it's usually not just one big item but many little ones that need to be adjusted or cut in order to balance the check book.
