Confused about eating in the morning and working out?

I read that it is good to work out in the morning on an empty stomach. Yet others say that this is a very bad idea.

Which is it?

    It absolutely depends on you !! I used to work out right after I would eat breakfast, and it would give me bad stomach cramps because my food was simply trying to digest. Now I make sure that I exercise before I eat. Plus I am usually starving after from all the high cardio. Try both, see which way was more effective and how you liked it.:) Good luck !!     It's personal preference really. Some people like to workout early in the morning before their first meal and others cannot even keep their eyes open during a morning workout. The whole burning more fat while your stomach is empty is BS. What really matters is that your training is progressing and that you are hitting your daily macros.

    Go with what your body tells you. Some people need food first thing in the morning just to wake up and have energy, others don't. If the first sounds like you, you can eat something light, like fruit, and then eat a heavier meal with protein afterwards

    People just need to use common sense in thinking how we were designed and that we didn't always have food available 24/7. Just eat a really good meal after-wards. And eat decent all the time, your body keeps fat and ready to go energy stores, it can handle a workout without food first.
