At 5,000 feet elevation, if that affects our Commander-In-Chief so drastically, what's going to happen if?

he has to make a real life or death decision on Air Force One?

Air Force One is pressured. If you can't fly from here to there on your own customized 747, then you have no business being in charge of anything. Truth is he just gave a bad performance. When your "supporter" comes up with an excuse that lame, it just emphasis how badly Obama blew it.

Edit: For those asking what we are talking about. After the presidential debate, Al Gore came out with some statement about Romney having practiced in Denver, while the president flew in a few hours before. He also mentioned that the president reached an altitude of 5000 feet, (probably a lot higher). The implication was that this was the reason for the presidents poor performance.

Less than half the people will agree with the decision, and less than half the people will disagree with the decision, and about 5-10% won't know what to make of the decision, just as if the decision were made on the ground. The only difference would be: if he were 5,000 ft in the air, he would be alive and the rest of us will have less than a second to have an opinion.

You can be sure that they keep the Commander-In-Chief as comfortable as possible. The cabin of airplanes are partially pressurized to keep the passengers safe but they are not pressurized to sea level. This can cause problems in certain cases but it's usually resolved quite well with over the counter medication. He has plenty of advisers at the ready and a well equipped private physician on board. The body itself will adjust to the change in air pressure usually with minimal time. In the event there is a problem we have a clear chain of command and someone else can take over until the Commander-In-Chief is whisked away to a secret ground location if needed.

No, i do no longer think of Obama as president could be in the final long-term hobbies of our u . s . right now. we could desire to maintain our militia stable, proceed the combat till Iraq is stabilized, proceed our combat in Afghanistan, and shop helping Israel and shop Iran at bay. i've got reported it till now, and that i will declare it lower back: our u . s . isn't waiting for a Liberal president, on good of a specially Democratic congress. Dems have their hearts in the phenomenal place, yet no longer their heads. they want instant gratification, and that may no longer going to ensue no count who's elected.

Might help if the rest of us knew what you were talking about.

BTW, you do know airlines are pressured, right? Otherwise, at 30,000 ft, everyone would be dead from oxygen deprivation.
