Hair care help ! My itchy scalp and hate for washing hair !?
Okay, I have long, blonde, thick, frizzy hair and I HATE my frizzy hair. I have to straighten it every time I wash my hair (2x per week). Such a pain ! I've been researching a little bit about how often I should wag my hair and about my itchy scalp !
Question 1:
My scalps always itchy. It's dry. But how do I moisturize it ?
They say shampoo just dries it out even more.
I have also read that someone hasn't washed their hair since the 80s and that she uses baby powder to do something to it. And I HATE washing my hair. It takes forever to blow dry my hair and straighten it. It takes FOREVER.
Question 2:
Do I HAVE to wash my hair ? Can I just use moisturizers and spray shampoos ?
Help !

Oils overnight may help. Coconut, almond, olive oil..... there are soooo many oils out there. Coconut oil will help with your dry scalp. I use castor and olive oil but I ran out last week. The next time im at whole foods imma pick some coconut oil up since the seasons are changing. You should give it a try tho. I use the "now solutions" brand. Before I got my castor oil I researched some reviews on amazon.com they were pretty good.
If your hair isn't corse and to decide to use oils you probably wanna wash it out but I leave a little in sometimes during the day. You might wanna look into co-washing. It's washing your hair with conditioner. Some people only wash once or twice a week with shampoo and co-wash on other days that they feel they need to.

My situation seems a lot like yours I had a painfully itchy scalp but i used Nioxin shampoo and conditioner which helped my scalp a lot! It also made my hair slightly thinner and easier to blow dry and straighten. Sadly, it became too expensive, it is about $40 for one bottle! I would highly suggest using that for a month or so. Now, the only shampoo that doesn't irritate my head is Clear or EverPure (both cheaper drugstore brands) I highly suggest washing you hair every other night so it won't be greasy but I occasionally also use a dry shampoo which is from Saphora, i do not recommend this brand because it makes your hair white and smelly. I also like the Tressemme brand of dry shampoo. Also using products in your hair will help your natural hair look better or even keep it straight or easier to straighten. John Frieda has great products for this. Also at night i let my hair air dry then only straighten it in the morning because it is easer and better for split ends. I hope I helped :)

HEY!!!! there are lots of choices on the advertising, however now not they all paintings for your want! A miracle involves me while I observed the Pro Natural’s Argan Oil package, which has shampoos, conditioner, hair mask, hair oils and stuff that's sulfate, alcohol loose so it is so tender together with your hair and makes it relatively delicate and glossy.
