Between he and Jeff Dunham they are bringing this art back. I must say, Terry is my favorite. He has so many characters and voices it's amazing. Watched him win AGT and was rooting for him the entire time. Thanks for the link---didn't know he was on UYube. More entertainment I can now watch. uch better than any of the others of the past, he's brought the art to new heights. Although I do enjoy Dunham's terrorist and Peanut characters.

Depends on the dummies, and I sometimes feel that the ventriloquist is the real dummy. But I do like Jerry Fator and his Elvis Impersonator and Jeff Dunham and his Achmed the Dead Terrorist. That was a good video, I have seen Jeff sing a little but not to the extent that Jerry did in that clip.

Some I do. I remember Senor Wencus on Ed Sullivan. He died at 103 in 1999. It seems he may have been one of the first on TV. Along with Shari Lewis. And Edger Bergen. Now a days I like Jeff Durham. He has a Halloween special on comedy central that is hilarious. We may go see him in Green Bay with our grandkids. btw..remember Bob and Bob on the comedy series "Soap"??
Great questions-thabks for reminding me!!

I can't see utube cause I have dialup, but I can say that I grew up watching Howdy Doody (marionette), Sheri Lewis and Lambchop, Edgar Burgen and Charlie McCarthy, there was one on the Ed Sullivan show I can't recall his name who had a spanish speaking doll in a box, and then there was this guy about a year ago who won a gig in Los Vegas, and my neice and nephews loved Elmo.

MY all time favorite was Edgar Bergen. His collection of sidekicks, incuding Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd were abhout the funniest non-humans out there. The characters compared to Red Skelton's live characters, Klem Kadiddlehopper, Richard, the mean Widdle Kid and Cauliflower McPug.

I will come back & watch later I have to go now but he is the ONLY one I like & he is amazing. He has a great life story, he is a great person & he is GREAT at what he does. I watched him win America's most talented or whatever the show was he was one. Those shows give people who wouldn't have a chance in life, a chance. Sometimes they have someone who has a famous parent & could do ok without the show.
Right now The Voice has a young man who is only 18, has no confidence & could be the winner. Ceelo Green is going to help transform him. The young man had a teacher tell him he shouldn't take a program that he was offered because it wasn't going to matter. So he is the underdog.
