Visual difference in a VW 1.8 and 1.9TDI turbo.?

I ordered a 1.9 turbo for my TDI bug. I am worried it mey be for a 1.8. Anyone know an easy way to ID it before I tow it to the shop? I can't see the old one to tell!

    A turbo from a 1.8 gasoline engine will have an integrated recirculating dumpvalve. A diesel engine doesn't need this, so it will be absent on the 1.9 TDI turbo.
