I have a question on identity theft. My Sons ex girlfriend allegedly stole his phone, we had it disconnected. She has made remarks to friends she has it. Monday the phone got turned back on, phone co says someone dialed 611 and entered my SSN and requested it be turned on. Does this rise to Identity Theft since this will cost money and also required a SSN?

My 2007 Triton V8 in a Ford F150 makes funny noises sometimes. When turning hard at slow speed or reversing it starts a hollow knocking in the front of the engine on the same frequency of the engine. It will not stop until the trans is shifted to neutral and the engine is reved moderately. Then the sound goes away. Just replaced plugs and coil packs. 180K miles.

A Plumber hooked a high flow compressor to my sprinklers to try to charge them to run dry. A head blew off and rusty water sprayed all over a high dollar NC Machine. Now he has disappeared! It it a common practice to do this? He says the swing gate is bad and he is trying to seat it. He is working for my buildings owner so I didn't hire him.

I am trying to build a moving sign. I need a gearbox with opposing outputs. Does anyone know is a riding lawn mower rear end can be modified to do that? Or any ideas on any other device that will work. I need a good duty cycle, not much load.

I ordered a 1.9 turbo for my TDI bug. I am worried it mey be for a 1.8. Anyone know an easy way to ID it before I tow it to the shop? I can't see the old one to tell!

What does the starter solenoid trigger, power windows, speedometer and blower motor (high speed and other speed) have in common with each other???

I replaced the starter because it was dragging, now those items don't work. I am a competent troubleshooter but I don;t know automotive systems and can't find schematics. Fuses, continuity and voltage good!

Is there bussways that small and diverse? If so where are they?

My New Beetle TDI 5 speed just started making a noise that sounds like gears clashing. It is only on the lower half of clutch travel when the car is stopped. It doesn't do it when rolling slowly or any gear other than first or reverse when stopped!

My demon possessed Windstar died on the road. The battery was boiled dry. The battery was less than a week old, the alternator checked OK when it was put in. Everything shut down, no electricity! New battery does nothing. Most busses are dead, only one hot always buss is hot. Any ideas? Where can I find detailed schematics? Are there fuse links between alt and fuse boxes?

2001 Windstar Van, my wife got home last night and park lights would not go off. No single fuse, can't find relay. Disconnecting the switch turns everything on! Disconnected the battrey to get them to go off. Any ideas?? I am otherwise a good troubleshooter, but I am LOST with this one!

Anyone tested for a Class A CDL with a trailer with surge or electric brakes (not air.) Please let me know where and when.
