How can I tell my mom, who gets easily mad, in a polite subtle way?

to stop texting me every minute of the day and expecting me to tell her what I'm doing every second of the day without her getting mad?

I'm at college now, and I get it she misses me, but she expects me to tell her when I wake up, what class I'm going to and when I'm leaving to go to that class, what time I get out, what I'm doing at the moment and what plans I have and on the weekends she wakes me up saying why I sleep so late and if I want to go to sleep early she criticizes me for it. I'm so annoyed and fed up. But if I just tell her to leave me alone she'll get mad and it would be worse. She even think people are influencing me to tell her to stop texting me.

can someone please tell me a way in which I could do this without annoying her or something?

don't tell her but do put off replying to her text and when ask what took so long tell her that you have other demands on your time

Just tell her you understand she misses you but that she needs to let you have a life. You are grown. Assure her that you will text her at least once a day but that you can't keep texting her every aspect of your day.
