Why are some people so mean?

Warren, this is something that is on my mind almost constantly. I have some ideas about the why. It begins with maltreatment when very very young, with a series of insurmountable odds against fulfillment of basic dreams. It continues with social outcasting, further drifting into a sea of confusion, these individuals too asking why? Why does no one care? Why can't I be loved like they are? And the wedge between goes wider and deeper...we may group these fallen beings into groups like murderers, thieves, false friends, liars, traitors, terrorists- but they are at some point savable, but no one tried. Jared Loughner killing the AZ congresswoman, the recent movie release shootings, Columbine... PEOPLE NOTICED THINGS WRONG WITH THESE kids beforehand but they did not try to investigate what it could be. We have learned to distrust, stifle or deny the instincts and intuitions that we have carried in us since the species stood upright. Else the dang marketers would not have been able to lead us into the greedy and wasteful consumerism that makes the 2% what they are and is now breaking the economic structure down to poorer and poorer, numbers increasing.

The huddled masses are preying on their own. There is a great sense of apathy which is contagious and deadly. The thing is, when we utilize extrasensory processes, we are doing a lot of preventing what could happen, and therefore it cannot be proven that anything was done at all. THAT is the quantum mechanics at work the wave/particle duality will someday be further understood and will explain the science of this. I do an awful lot of this kind of thing and of course by the standards of the material world it would appear I have not achieved anything of value; I may struggle all my life for the

basics I need for my own comfort materially speaking.

I have priceless beads of interlocked conceptual synapses locked in for eternity. You have just added a pivotal bead. I send a bit of my essence to your friend, through you- and on to mu daughter to find him in the aethers and lead him to the place we will all be HOME after the passing of earth's sun into nova. Bless your well-written poem and your well-learned heart. You are a good man, and I hope there is a return to that in the new generation. The soldiers and vets that I know all seem to share the qualities that you possess.

Warren your poem is very sad, and i'm so sorry to hear, that bad news, My Condolence to your friend, and His families, May He R.I.P, Sometimes bad things happened to God people, and God does not make any mistakes, things happened for a reason, It's a shame that some people do not have any self control, nor decency. As for the other person, he will learn, but time is needed for that person to come around to understanding true value of life. Period.
