Is there bias involved?

Simply put God is all things good. Bad things are created when there is an absence of good usually under the influence of Satan, sin, and evil thoughts and deeds. Death.illness, famine, even at times floods and bad weather can eventually be traced back to someone or something doing something against the will of God. Greedy land owners over working their soil thereby creating soil erosion which in turn leads to flooding over vast areas, Over fishing the seas, polluting the air with all types of foul emissions leading back to sickness and death. For every action there is a reaction therefore bad actions bring forth bad reactions.
None of the bad things were created by God, but were made by the actions of going against God's grace. No there is no bias it's just a fact like water is wet.

It is the opposite of bias....IF God created all that is GOOD and it became Bad then necessarily you are wrong. And Genesis says just that.
The question has nothing to do with how things ARE but rather with how they were created. You have it backwards.
"God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. "

Literally, a missing of the mark, according to the Hebrew and Greek Bible texts. God himself sets the “mark” that his intelligent creatures are to reach. Missing that mark is sin, which is also unrighteousness, or lawlessness. (Rom. 3:23; 1 John 5:17; 3:4) Sin is anything not in harmony with God’s personality, standards, ways, and will, all of which are holy. It may involve wrong conduct, failure to do what should be done, ungodly speech, unclean thoughts, or desires or motives that are selfish. The Bible differentiates between inherited sin and willful sin, between an act of sin over which a person is repentant and the practice of sin.

Everything that exists is a result of God. nothing exists that He does not allow. He does get credit for everything from those who understand this.
For example, He did know what happened to Abel and could have stopped Cain. And Cain challenges Him on exactly this point with his sarcastic - "am i my brother's keeper" - throwing back to God that God is the all powerful keeper etc.
note that God does not say that Cain is incorrect. God does have that power and is in that sense responsible. But that is besides the point - because the lesson is that nevertheless we remain accountable for our choices and our part in this Creation of God's.
So all of these arguments people put out about God not being the creator of evil etc are not only inaccurate but entirely besides the point. It matters not. We remain accountable.
Further - it is the system of life and creation itself that is "very good" and not "evil" -- not the particulars of momentary events. For example, life is "good" and not "evil" even though it includes disease. Children are born sometimes with horrible abnormalities, but life and birth are still "very good". Nature is "very good" even though a hurricane may smash a church with people of faith inside.
God is the Creator of life that includes disease, birth that includes abnormalities and nature that can be destructive. And God tells us all of these are "good" notwithstanding the negatives.
He never suggested that "good" = "strife free".

It is necessary that God be benevolent for the majority of Christianity to be self-consistent. The problem is that he is supposed to be benevolent and omniscient, which is inconsistent. This creates a bit of cognitive dissonance, and so people have to find a way to explain it away. See the other answers for examples of this.
Short answer: because he's the good guy.

Pretending you wrote a very good book and every word you wrote is an inspiration to every one who reads to enjoy and live according to the inspiration you gave. So, you get the credit for that as the author of that book.
However, some readers may used your words using it to oppose what you desire how it should be used, will you still take the credit for that?

God created all things for good. There is something good to be found in all He created, For example cures for diseases found in weeds we normally would normally get rid of. Because humans have and still are damaging our world the good will still remain hidden.

I strongly urge you to visit rzim.org or to contact a preacher that would be able to answer this in the way that you need. Do some research on your own and find out the Good/Bad.

Because there was nothing bad in his creation. All evil is a result of the initial rebellion of Satan the Devil and then the first human couple.
