Why is Candy Crowley still going to be a moderator?
She has promised to comment and ask follow up questions which is expressly forbidden by the rules she agreed to and the candidates agreed to. Neither Obama nor Romney wish for her to grab this power so why is the Debate Commission still allowing her to moderate?
You need a link before I can be believed? http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/obama-romney-cr... google .18 seconds.
"In managing the two-minute comment periods, the moderator will not rephrase the question or open a new topic. … The moderator will not ask follow-up questions or comment on either the questions asked by the audience or the answers of the candidates during the debate or otherwise intervene in the debate except to acknowledge the questioners from the audience or enforce the time limits, and invite candidate comments during the two-minute response period."
Maximus: The Obama campaign doesn't want her to act in this manner either.
I have no idea what voter id has to do with this. I also like how I demonstrably prove you wrong and your only response is to default to childish attacks.

Forbidden!??**!!
Obviously not! and what is wrong with follow up questions exactly, we want more than just one liners and zingers, thats the trouble with the presidential campaigns, too much BS and lies and not enough specifics!!!
Oh so thats it is it, you don't want Romney getting too much heat, but you are happy for a doddering old fool like Lehrer to let Romney abuse the debate!
You Republicans are not happy with trying to stop people from voting with your phony ID bull sh1t, you also want to fix the debates!!!

Hello,
Could be for the eye candy reason. 1st debate: Older man with concerned eyes. 2nd Debate Person of Mass (Overweight) with a mean face look.
3rd Debate: Cute white woman with long arms.

You don't have a link, so I don't believe you.
Besides, this format is a town hall meeting where the audience asks the questions.

I'm sick and tired of moderators who slant things and wish we could all, as a country, have a neutral party moderating.
It's unfair and it is also swaying people.

I can't stand Liberals!!! Romney 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!
