porsche carrera 4s or mercedes sl 550 which one is better and why?

Two additions to C7S comments: I read that the SL550 tende to overheat (too little breathing "space" in a tight engine bay). These really are different classes of cars - the MB is stolid and solid and very heavy. The Carrera 4S is much lighter, with the suspension tuned to something approaching track, Oh, and for those who don't know, the "4S" stands for all wheel drive and the more powerful (and larger, depending on year) engine.

I have driven a 2004 911 Carrera 4S and a 2003 Mercedes SL55 AMG.

The Porsche was on another level. It was a much better drivers car with a better designed and more ergonomic interior. It is also more reliable, more fuel efficient, and faster around a race track.

The SL55 AMG has so much torque that it is very easy to spin out or slide accidentally if your not careful. It has horrible traction. They should have put better and wider tires on it from the factory.

You can only afford a Hyundai or Kia !!!
