So what job CAN I find in Taiwan as a Taiwanese American?
Aside from teaching English. I have a BA in Biology from an American university. Fluent in both languages.

A job in a Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry company. A BA degree might not be enough. You will have better chance if you have a MA, MS, or PhD degree.
Forty five percent (45%) BA degree holders can NOT find a job in the first 6 to 12 months in Taiwan.
If you are White, there is a small chance you can find a job faster than you are a Taiwanese American.

I suggest you try working the Marine Science and Environmental Protection angle.

Unless you are an ROC national, or eligible for citizenship, you will have the same rights and restrictions as any other foreigner.
