Where is the heart officially located?

If you watch every TV episode involving the heart, everyone points the heart to your left breast. Isn't the heart dead center?

    your heart is located more so to the left than centre, behind your breastbone.

    It crosses your center line but more of it is on the left side.

    no it's to your left, that's why when people have a stroke; their whole left side dies.
