Whats your thought on abortion?

This is just a pole type of thing, I have to write a paper on it. So please give me your reasons for being for or against it. Thanks everyone. (:

I'm against abortion. It's not the fault of the child that the parents were irresponsible. Of course there are exceptions but I'm not talking about those right now. I think it's wrong and every baby has a purpose. One of those could be cure to AIDS or cancer and we are throwing them away because it's not convenient. It's a sad world we live in today because we have so many other priorities. A family should be number 1 but it's not like that today. Back then you needed kids to raise to help with the farm. It was cheaper than hiring help. But today kids don't have much use so they are inconvenient.

I don't want kids but if I got pregnant, I would have one and I wouldn't hold it against him.

I am religiously against it. However, a few years back in Texas there was a case in which a 9 year old girl was raped by her uncle. She became pregnant. Uncle was prosecuted and sentence to prison. But, now this girl child was having a baby. The parents wanted their daughter to have the baby, then given up for adoption. Whereas, for this girl child and her health reasons and her life. Doctors thought it was best if an abortion was perform. This is a tough choice.

Years ago I worked for a OB-GYN office, also in Texas. Two days a week he would perform abortions. The girls mainly who sought his services were college students. Their reasons were as followed: they partied, got horny and didn't use protection, hence the pregnancy. There was another case in which a woman used pregnancy as generating income/money. In the time that I was there, it appeared that she had already had 12 abortions and was scheduled for the 13th abortion. She would tell the allege fathersssss that she was pregnant and needed $250 to get abortion. She would tell 3 or 5 of the men and they would pay up. She paid the doctor $250 and pocketed the rest of the money. There are other things to consider. but that is all for now

I think its wrong, BUT I am for them being legal because its much more dangerous when women try and do them at home.

PS Victoria, the heart starts beating in the 6th week, I'm all for being pro-life, but don't spread incorrect facts.

I don't agree with abortion unless a woman was raped. Otherwise I believe that she should carry the baby full term and put the baby up for adoption.

It's a woman's body and her choice. As long as person can't be forced even to donate blood to save somebody else, a woman should not be forced to carry a fetus that she doesn't want.

Honestly, I would just have the baby and put it up for adoption. Anyway, I honestly am not for it or against it, but I believe women should have the option to do what they want with their babies. So government **** off!!!!!

Abortion is killing your precious little baby.

No woman ever held her precious newborn and regretted not killing it.

Read some stories of women who have done this and regretted it for life.
