How many dining reservations can you make at disney world?

I don't believe there is a limit to the number of actual reservations you can make, but I do know that you can make them for up to 10 days. If you are staying on Disney property, you can call 180 days before you check in and make reservations for up to 10 days after the day you check in.

You do need to have a ticket to get into a park to eat there. The Rain Forrest Cafe in Animal Kingdom is the exception. There is an entrance to the restaurant outside the gate there. Also, it takes a long time to travel between parks. You don't want to switch parks for dinner and then expect to go back to the original park. In order to switch parks, you have to have the Park Hopper option, at added expense, added to your ticket. Honestly, none of the restaurants are "must see" for an 8 year old boy. Some are very nice. But, they will not be the thing that an 8 year old boy remembers as the best part of the trip. There is fast food available at all the parks everywhere. If you want to eat at the fast food places then no reservations are required. However, at the Magic Kingdom it does not take too long to walk across the park for a reservation. I mean, you are talking about maybe 5 minutest to walk there verses the hour or more you would spend at a sit down restaurant. The same goes for Hollywood Studios. Animal Kingdom may be a 10 minute walk. Epcot might be 20 at the worst.

I don't think there is a limit. We just stayed at Disney World and had 14 table service reservations when we checked in.

the 10 is you can make ressies for up to ten days at a time( the max amount of most tickets available unless you are an Annual Pass holder or coming from Britain which can get 14 day tickets)

you can make reservations for 3 sit down meals a day..breakfast, lunch and dinner.

generally speaking you may begin making reservations as soon as your window opens.. about 90 days out.
