Why can't any christian provide tangible, verifiable evidence that the 'jesus' critter?

of the bible rose from the dead?

P.S. Silly stories in a bronze age/iron age collection of lies, myths, and legends are not tangible, verifiaable evidence.

Update:

EDIT: SECOND verifiable.. not verifiaable... typos.. arrrrgggghhhh.

    Because there is none.

Jesus (or God Himself) could have left any sort of permanent evidence He liked, but for some weird and wonderful reason (y'know... "mysterious ways" and all that) chose not to.

I'm afraid you're just going to have to go with His miraculous appearances on toasted cheese sandwiches.

  • Um, probably because there's no way "tangible, verifiable" evidence would exist. Seriously, what do you expect, pictures? Video? There are many things that happened in the past for which the only evidence is the written word. Why don't you demand "tangible, verifiable" evidence for those also? Do you understand the way the study of history works? Historians *have* to be open to all forms of "evidence" for events, otherwise nothing could be accepted as having actually happened.

Jesus change into under no circumstances restricted to the flaws men can do. You ask for tangible information. Why reduce your self to the type of small international. You settle for as authentic those belongings you may discover, hear, flavor, contact and scent. you also settle for those issues which will be proved by technique of mathematical or actual information, or maybe theories inclusive of evolution because their empirical information is compelling. So do I. yet I also settle for the flaws that are non secular. If we do not then what are we to do with the quantum international, which does not function in accordance to our favourite actual rules? shall we toss aside each and each of the artwork technology has performed in that sphere? I received't take offense at your rude "critter" characterization of my Lord. quite i am going to ask Him to bless you with more desirable experience.

For the same reason someone who believes in Evolution can't truly give tangible, verifiable evidence that their theory is correct. It's all about faith. Christians have faith that Jesus Christ existed, and evolutionists have faith that creatures evolved into what they are now

They have to have verifiable evidence of him existing first. Let them get that, then request the rest

... and what evidence (apart from eyewitness accounts) do you expect to be stil extant after nearly two thousand years. how do you expect independent verification to take place? obviously your requirement cannot be met, and you silly person ask WHY NOT?

don't you have someting better to do?

    Think Prime Directive.

Gene Roddenberry (an agnostic/atheist) had it right.

Because most likely, the claims aren't true....remember, that most of them try to assert their claims as being true and then when challenged, they insert their faith....well, screw that. "Faith" is no virtue...it is nothing but gulliblity....you can believe ANYTHING with faith.....as is evident with religion
