Why does Richard Dawkins reading profanity-strewn hate mail sound so... intelligent?

Few there are left in the world that can take such demonetization and get a good laugh and share it with the world. The criticism received by Richard Dawkins should not be considered representing all Christianity but does represent ignorance showing up between the dictates of the head and the heart. Should we stop demoralizing others and approach such questions with intelligence and with a full heart. Perhaps Dawkins could have responded with a scientist view in common understandable language like, “Look stupid there is no God or Jesus and let me show you why they are not needed”.

Without being too egotistical I would like to say with only an eighth grade education, (self taught) I can defeat the Pope in debate. Let me be clear, the Pope is a wondrous human beings with a programmed identity like the rest of us are.

Well... It sounds intelligent because R.D. isn't writing it.

It's easy to look smart under those conditions.

Look... Not that I have anything against Dr Dawkins... but I do think he is somewhat of a publicity hound. (He has the Dr. - I don't).

Nevertheless... He does make some very salient points against creationism that can't be denied. (not that creationism really has a leg to stand on or anything...)

The thing about Dawkins is he's one of those few scientists who actually takes the debates going on in the world of non-scientists seriously.

Of course, he destroys the creationist view.

It doesn't have a leg to stand on. But he actually bothers to look at it and destroy it.

It's a great benifit to laypersons trying to get it. Dawkins is a fantastic vulgarizer.

And of course, creationists hate him all the more because their aim has always been public opinion (as opposed to truth).

Judging all Christains based on a select few, is not a representative of all Christains. And anyone can sound intelligent if they speak eloquently and concisely. His British accent which makes use of proper diction, makes him sound intelligent.

I mean, it was just so awesome to hear these messages of hate from so called Christians...and it's exactly what you hear on a regular basis...it's nothing but hate disguised as some kind of guidance to the truth....get the hell outta here, silly theist.

hate mail from the religious is one of the clearest ways to see the stupidity of their beliefs and the hypocrisy that they practice daily.

Because he is a rather eloquent guy.

I agree with his conclusions and reasoning but not everything that he does, however.
