Ebay, I have to ship a large glass bottle?
I am selling 5 gallon glass bottles on Ebay.
They are very nice but I am very concerned about the shipping. These are very heavy and are fragile too. How do I deal with this? Offer no returns? What about insurance? If you have insurance and the bottle was to break is it hard to collect on the insurance? What does the insurance in this case do anyway? Pay for replacement value or? Worse yet these are vintage and can not be replaced as such.
Anyone with Ebay experience please help!

Oh that sucks! You have to be very, very careful when mailing breakable items. Get a nice box, slightly bigger than what you'd actually need to give them item(s) extra space. Wrap them very well in bubble tape so make sure they're padded nicely. Maybe even line the bottom of the box with a strip of bubble tape and place another strip on top after you've wrapped the actual items. Write on the sides of the boxes things like "FRAGILE!," "Handle With Care", "Do NOT Drop/Shake!" - that way the mail carriers know to be gentle with the item. Explain to the post office what you're mailing and that they're fragile and vintage/irreplaceable. That way they'll know and can be sure it's handled with care. Get insurance and be sure you state that you're NOT responsible for how the item comes. If it's accidentally broken, you're not to blame. Say "final sale, no returns!".
Good luck!
