Ladies: What does it say about our gender that there are so many reality shows about women?

Women are more likely to gravitate to that kind of minutia ... virtually void of redeeming qualities.

I would rather watch nothing than contaminate my mind w/ a presentation like one of those shows.

What are you saying..I had to stop vacuuming to answer this one because I raised 4 sons and all their friends and I have 4 grandsons, and I have a brother, and I tell you right now do not give your brother a tomato because they have more drama then females. I worked with all men practically 3000 and they tell more stories and you cannot have an odd number of them or someone is going to get picked on. Between the wedgies and spider's barking that is what we called gas around here and who did that and who was wearing who clothes worst then women when it came right down to it. I could get more accomplished with a few women in 30 minutes then a few men at work always looking for the easy way out. Just do the job. Don't dare tell to do more than 3 things on a list at a time because they are only focused on that one job. Men cannot multitask it just is not in their genetics. There is a talk shop topic for you all. Prove it and see. You won't have one man say a thing about it and if he does he just wants drama. I have to finish running the sweeper..later ~

Women are treated as second class citizens . Not only the Indian cultures but the religions,too would treat women only as brainless bodies, the media would also use them for promotion of their programs. In these shows girls might wear short dresses to expose their body parts to survive in these shows.These reality shows are meant to search for the talent like acting, singing and dancing; but meanings of these shows have changed, and exposure of women’s bodies increases the popularity and number of viewers of these shows which are mostly men.

Women in media are being treated as an item or product for their features of beauty, sex and attraction instead of their capabilities of dancing, singing and performance.

Some of the reality shows that we have watched do not demonstrate the way the girls are mistreated behind the camera, and the public do not get chance to know about it ever.

It's really sad the way female gender are treated in India but there is no solution to it.

The people that make the shows know that there a many sad lonely women out there, who are extremeley nosy and want to find out what everyone else is up to.

I prefer to come on here than waste my time watching reality (non) shows.

Most of the television audience is women. So companies cash in on women's ignorance.

Men are too busy at work paying for kids he MAY have made that in america, don't belong to him, but to the woman and the STATE. Women cash in on mens sperm then choose to stay home, watch TV, and complain about a "wage gap"

Since most of our entertainment today disrespects women I think it shows how exploited women are today and how women do not know how to be ladies anymore or demand respect from men.

More women watch reality television than men do.
