What does a heart of gold look like?

I guess these days, perhaps we should say "heart of platinum". People say 'gold' because it is generally considered the most precious commodity in the world, although I think platinum is the most valueable these days. It just means they or their deeds are as precious as...gold. (Their actual heart is red and blue just like everyone elses.)

There are many humanitarians who give all they have for others.,

though what your giving may be small, but those receiving,

it's coming from a heart that is good as gold.

It looks like this "♥" but only appears to be golden.

Gild is valueable. Heart of gold - kind valueable person. Good as gold. As valuabke as gold.

In this day and age it`d look like filigree, I think.

Who respects the mellow and precious and rare sheen in ordinary people anymore?

Gold is more malleable and melts more easily than silver or platinum and is fairly rare,is easily tarnished.

Heart should be pristine pure and the mind should be crystal clear. One should have kindness and compassion while feeling - it should be wholehearted and not halfhearted.

There is no use having a golden body housed by an impure heart.

Its just an expression, meaning that person cannot do any wrong.
