Will there always be tensions between vegetarians and pescetarians?

The short answer is: Yes.
The slightly longer answer is that most vegetarians are ethical and oppose the use and slaughter of sentient beings especially for something as petty as taste. (Fish oil in some studies have been shown to be Atherogenic (clogs arteries) so the health claim is dubious at best.)
This being the case, no ethical vegetarian (the majority) is going to agree that eating fish which are sentient beings, is right, tolerable or ethical.
This is the ethical equivalent of murdering human beings who are deemed to be less sentient than humans (for various reasons) and then eating them. Of course many will disagree but since flesh eating has been a societal norm for a very long time, people are programmed to believe that humans are superior to other animals and therefore it is ethical and perfectly fine to dominate, murder and exploit them.

Tension? Some Vegetarians find it annoying that Pescetarians say 'I'm a Vegetarian, but i eat fish' because that means they're not vegetarian they're Pescetarian. Other than that some Vegetarians think they should just be Veggie i guess, but then again i don't see any real tension there:)

I used to be a pescetarian, but just recently changed to being a vegetarian. I have no problem with people who continue to eat fish, because then i would be a hypocrite. As a young child, i was told that i "could" eat fish, but over time i realized that there was no difference at all. I don't expect others to think the same way as me, but i hope more people realize what i have realized. And to answers your question, there will be the same "tension" between vegetarian and pescetarians as there is between vegans and vegetarians.
And to Miggy, just so that you know, the eggs are unfertilized, and i have my own chickens and eggs, nicely treated.

I think the only 'tension' comes with pescetarians who call themselves vegetarians, when they are eating an omnivorous diet. Many veg*ns seem to get upset about the labels other people claim.

I advocate a raw plant based diet. Anyone else seems to spread tainted "knowledge" of health & nutrition.
A lot of people lie about being pescatarian & I associate pescatarian with lying people, because many lie about being pescatarian in the first place, then go as far as to lying about vegetarian.

Anything which is controversial or conflict of interests between two parties or more, there is always tension and room for arguments.

I am a vegetarian - it's my choice. If people choose to be pescetarians that is their choice - nothing to do with me.
I do object to people saying they are vegetarians if they eat fish/seafood though - as fish aren't vegetables!

Why should there be? it's a lifestyle choice, no-one has the right to criticise what someone eats any more than to criticise someone's belief system. Live and let live.
But I do get a bit annoyed with vegetarians who lecture me because I occasionally eat fish, when they eat dairy products and eggs (I don't) which lead to the slaughter at birth of countless thousands of unwanted male calves and chicks.

There are tensions?
I don't really give a crap what other people eat, or what they want to call themselves.
It's not exactly the Sharks and the Jets.
