Could there be a reason I'm not getting hired?
I've been out of work for over a year. I've applied to every job I'm qualified for within a 50+ mile radius. Not one callback. My employmwnt record in't real big, and the jobs I had were crap. One laid me off for summer and they said I quit when I tried to reapply. The other radically changed my hours. Both were through temp agencies. I don't want to go to a community college to waste 2 years of time and money I don't have. I couldn't afford college if I wanted to go. The military won't take me without me getting my eyes fixed. Which is highly expensive. I am getting tired of.living with my dirtbag family. I'm getting tired of being called lazy and wothless. I don't want to live the way I do. I want to live by myself for myself.

The main reason is that the economy is in a bad condition and there are too many unemployed people looking for work. Don't give up and you will eventually find something. Good luck

There could be many reasons.
Do you apply in person? Are you dressed properly and well groomed?
Do you have references?
Have you re-written your resume at least once?
Have you considered what kind of attitude you portray?
You need to make some kind of change if you expect different results.
