Help with my manga/anime idea, please?
Hello, I was recently storming up a bunch of ideas/themes for my manga/anime. Anyways I just wanted an opinion on which one of these are most interesting to you and also please tell me if these ideas for plot are overused/cliché. Thanks:
1. Genre: Fantasy, action, thriller, drama, romance.
Plot summary: The story is basically a small group of people that can travel between one dream to another, but only the most vivid ones, they hate boring dreams. These people also fight of any kind of nightmare they see. During this story, the group faces the corrupt reality of today's world (like violence/abuse/war) and how it affects the children and their dreams.
2. Genre: Realistic fiction, semi-fantasy.
Plot summary: this one is set in a lost country, who apparently has the secret to immortality. Our broken hero sets out, wanting to play god with this power, but realised immortality shouldn't be strived for.
3. Genre: Philosophy, Realistic Fiction, some romance.
Plot summary: This story sets by in the near future, 2030-2050, where technology has an incredible boost to the life at that time, this one explains how technology (like AI) revolves around moral philosophy and what stands between our mind, and the truth... About everything.
Anyways, are any of these plots overused? And which one would you read? Thank you so much!

I really love your ideas! I will give a small interpertation and thoughts on each plot.
1. This plot, out of all of yours, sounds a little cliche. People being able to jump between dreams? I have heard of it before. I love the idea about how the group faces the corruption and reality of today's world. That would set it apart from being to cliche.
2. I think this one is my favorite. I love the idea of broken/mentally unstable 'heros'. The only thing is that the 'wanting to play god' part sounds kind of like Death Note, but I bet, due to the completely different plot, when it is written out no one will notice. I would also consider having the main character not realizing his wrongs at the end and dying thinking he was God. (that might be biased because I love character deaths) If not, make sure he realizes his wrong doings slowly and painfully, not just all the sudden "WELL IM GOING TO BE GOOD NOW!!!11!11!" that many anime and mangas do.
3. I don't really understand this plot too well, but by the way it sounds, it sounds like something I have never heard of before. This could make it very interesting. Moral philosophy's is something I love too. It is very strange on how different each people's moral's are. I enjoy the idea.
I would read all of these if they were mangas, but I would probably read number 2 and 3 first, but eventually read 1!
If you ever need more help or opinions on these, feel free to message me!

I continually notion it might be interesting to do a manga just like Romeo and Juliet (of course not following that specific plot, or time generation) I imply like have it the place this one woman falls in love with this guy she's consistently had a crush on, and he or she's completely happy to discover that he has a crush on her too. But, there is one gigantic hindrance. The moms and dads hate each and every different. XD How can they convince their mom and dad to let them be collectively? I believe it'll be hilarious if which you could write the script just correct. Have some scenes where the associates of ether the lady or the guy support are trying getting the opposite into the mom and dad excellent graces. I dont *believe* theres too many of those story line plots out there. If there is, i have not read any of them. Quite a lot of them are the entire love triangle thing. So yeah. :) i'd try this story line myself, however sadly i'm currently present process a manga undertaking with my friend and i've too many tasks on the moment. I wouldn't have time to work on that plot. So I rather pass it on to any individual who's willing to work with it. :) So, I hoped I helped some way. In the event you do not just like the plot possibly I bought you considering some how! Excellent success with it! If it takes off, let me understand some how! I would love to learn it! :)

Plot 1 seems interesting and original I'd watch it :)
Plot 2 the whole immortality thing is a bit overused ex. Fma Naruto
Plot 3 i wouldn't really get into

well to me none sound overused :) for number two wanting to play god might be used a little but I can't recall that much that use it so your good. I would most likely read number 2 then 1 then 3 :P I don't understand how number 3 works. like all I got from it was the setting :C
one last thing, Aki Cup trolls everybody's manga ideas so don't listen to him about this as he is no help. Good Luck :)

to be harsh, i don't like any of your ideas.
the main things you all ways have to have in and anime is
1. "bad *** mode activated" - you just need those few times where they just kick butt.
2. humor - if there isn't something humorous it sucks.
3. history - something related to current events, or past wars, or bible references, or even Greek mythology.
4.the questioning - the little hints/ foreshadowing they use that make it even more enjoyable the second time because you get it now.
5.re watchable - don't just make a "one time view anime"
6.Perversion- just a pinch of Perversion moments, it adds humor.
7.ending- always give closure in the end.
the number one rule to all ways remember is DON'T CHANGE IT!
the first few pages gather your Target audience and repel the rest, if you change it mid way you repel some of your target audience as well and almost never gain people. this will lead to your downfall.

Ah to be honest I probably wouldn't watch any of these. I think the best one is the first. But anime is suppose to be about fantasy so when you add realistic stuff like war and stuff i don't know it makes me disinterested maybe if the nightmares were actual monsters or demons that took over childrens minds sorta not really control them but make them loose emotions and make them destructive but i don't know.
also I like choosing animes based on who the characters are and the styles of the anime drawing. I hope this helped

Personally, I think I'd read the first story but not the other two because they just don't appeal to me much.

they all sound lame and boring and terribly overused. i wouldnt read any of them even if my life depended on them
