The quad core would be the obvious choice, just remember that you can't go by clock speed alone. This doesn't always indicate which is the fastest or "best" processor. But it would have helped if you had told us exactly which two processors your are referring to.
If these are your only two choices though, definitely go with the quad-core CPU.

Quad core. A lot more processing power even though it has slower clock speeds.
