Where is President Reagan at a time when you really need him?

He is still here in the form of President Romney.

St. Ronald was way overrated.

The man's actual record is an embarrasment.

Fact: Far from being fiscally responsible, he set record high deficits.

Fact: He actually committed treason. (Arming terrorists in defiance of Congress with money from illegal weapons sales to an enemy nation is treason).

Fact: The war on drugs saw the prison population balloon with no tangible results, except the growth of organized crime.

Fact: More homelesness, more poverty than ever before. The Reagan revolution was hartless. Although as above, it wasn't actually fiscally responsible. Emptied insane asylums right into the streets.

Fact: Actively supported Saddam Hussein and several other dictators, including the murderous Pinochet. So much for promoting "freedom".

But hey, he got that whole "trickle-down" thing started... so the plutocrats love him.

Not that trickle-down has ever worked or anything.

Oh, so you want another amnesty for illegals, another Supreme Court ruling like Plyler v doe 1982 to order illegal children to be educated if they are in the US, another Iran Contra affair, another time with the man who started the borrowing from China, who had unemployment in the 10 percentile and up. It was higher in some states at that time and was still 13 there when he went out four years later. He is where he belongs in the scheme of things, a hero in the mind of those who like to play act and can't read.

You mean the early Reagan or the forgetful old woman he turned into? He was great at caving to the Russians that's for sure... he gave them everything they wanted in exchange for arms concessions and hey, that was the right thing to do.

I love Reagan long time, but I'm not sure a lovable old pussy is what we need right now.

He did his job already. He turned the USA from the largest creditor to the world into the largest debtor of the world. In the same tradition, George W Bush turned a surplus into a trillion dollar deficit. Right, we need another Republican in office. Things are not bad enough. We could make it a lot worse and I think Romney has it in him to deliver. So, let's vote Romney.

You need someone to triple the national debt like Reagan did?

Or to train and supply terrorists in third world countries like Reagan did?
