How to be 1st and not last?

If you want it badly enough, you'll work for it by honing you skills in that area and making yourself desirable because of your good skills. Me, I like being in the middle. I was always elected yet I never volunteered. I was always captain of swim team or baseball, basketball, soccer or volleyball. You know what first means? It means taking all of the responsibility and if anything goes wrong, the buck stops with you. I finally learned how to play myself down and now, Yep, I like being in the middle.
