Why would the Devil punish you for doing his work?
NOT TROLLING, but essentially God and the Devil are enemies? and the Devil wants to see the world burn? So therefore if i was to do hes deeds by being evil and etc Why would i get punished after death if im helping him out? Would he think im his bro and we would chill together in awesomeness for all of eternity? And if he does punish people after death isnt he essentially a good guy? Its like saying the legal system is evil for sending people to jail, which it isnt its good? Stalemate christians.....
@ "?" how is the separation from god a punishment if youre already an atheist?
@ "No" isnt god all forgiving? so it would go against his logic to throw you into eternal torment and punish you? im pretty sure that, that sounds like hypercritical god?

This experiences and Testimony will abundantly answer your questions.

But before you read, you must know Satan is the Father of all lies, he is a deceiver, thief and Murderer. There is no love in Satan. Talkless of him loving those who are created (man) in the image and likeness of God.
BASED ON YOUR ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Yes God is forgiving and loving and merciful and graceful. But thats only available while your still alive in this world. Thats why no matter the evil of a man, we are not to judge wether he will go to hell because he can still repent and be saved, even though he's killed many people or done very wicked stuffs. But once he crosses this dimension, God comes out from the mercy seat and goes to Judgement seat. And only if he was righteous he can be saved.
Remember if Jesus death was able to save a man after he has died, then it would also be possible for the devil and his demons to return back to heaven. But Christ died on earth for the current life of man. After this life, there is no salvation or sacrifice that can save a lost soul forever.
Yes it may be baffling but its true, because God is an eternal God who makes decision that will never change. If he have mercy on man after death, he also have to have mercy on the devil which is impossible.
Nevertheless, some people have receive a rare occasion of exceptional mercy where they were to go to hell but were told to go back and warn the souls that still live in this world. Such testimonies can be found in Spiritlessons.com and they are true and conform with what the bible says.
In the end, the angels of God will cast all sinners to hell where the devil is and they will be punished with the devil forever. But the righteous will rejoice in the presence of God forever. Therefore choose rightoeusness. God hates sin.

Ps. 19:1: “The heavens are declaring the glory of God; and of the work of his fingers the expanse is telling.” Ps. 104:24: “what number of your works are, O Jehovah! All of them in wisdom you have got made. The earth is stuffed with your productions.” Rom. 1:20: “His invisible features are naturally visible from the arena’s creation onward, for the reason that they are perceived by means of the things made.” New Scientist journal said: “The lay view persists—of scientists having ‘disproved’ religion. It is a view that frequently expects scientists to be nonbelievers; that Darwin put the last nails in God’s coffin; and that a succession of scientific and technological improvements because have dominated out the likelihood of any resurrection. It is a view that is wildly flawed.”—may just 26, 1977, p. 478. A member of the French Academy of Sciences mentioned: “ordinary order used to be now not invented by way of the human intellect or installed through distinct perceptive powers. . . . The existence of order presupposes the existence of organizing intelligence. Such intelligence will also be none rather than God’s.”—Dieu existe? Oui (Paris, 1979), Christian Chabanis, quoting Pierre-Paul Grassé, p. Ninety four. Scientists have identified over one hundred chemical elements. Their atomic constitution shows an elaborate mathematical interrelationship of the elements. The periodic desk facets to apparent design. Such mighty design could no longer potentially be unintended, a made of risk. Wouldn't it be reasonable, then, to say that some distance more problematic things—the eye, the ear, and the human mind—didn't originate with an wise designer?

The answer is that the devil does not punish you for doing his work but God punishes you for doing the devils work. Its not God VS Devil. The devil has no power except which God allows him to have. The devil like us is accountable in the next life and he knows he's damned so he just wants to take as many of us with him as he can.

I have pondered this myself. If you are purposely doing the Devil's work, why should you suffer in Hell? I know there are demons in Hell just as there are angels in Heaven. I haven't ruled out the possibility that those people end up with jobs in Hell to terrorize those who denied God. But in the end, does Satan really see the difference between the two?

The devil does not punish you, it is the separation from God that is unbearable. The devil just happens to be stuck there too
EDIT: That's like saying 'how is separation from oxygen a punishment for people who have never learned about oxygen'? You don't know what you've got until it's gone, separation from God would be spiritually unbearable even if you don't appreciate this now

Your logic makes complete sense. Looking at the Bible the devil / satan seems to do far less harm than God himself... I wonder if Christians have it the wrong way around?
