Do you not let your parents see your kids? Why not?

I don't let my father-in-law see my son because he engages in an activity which traumatized his own children (sorry for not being specific), also he's been a disappointment to his son as long as I've known him- making promises he didn't keep, not keeping in contact with his children after he divorced his wife and he even once disowned his kids. I'd rather keep someone who is so emotionally harmful away from my children.

because my mother is horrible and unstable and she chooses boyfriends rather than her daughter and she has a bad temper, mood swings, drinks, goes behind my back with my kids, lies, omg sooooo many reasons. so yes i no longer let my mother see my children... i gave her 100 chances to prove me wrong and change and i forgave her but it never happened. so its in best interest with my children not to have a woman like that in there lives..... just my story
