Why not have an atheist category on yahoo answers?
This category is Religion & Spirituality. Since Atheism can be defined as the absence of both Religion and Spirituality, they must feel very left out hanging out here.
Now I have a feeling they get a rush out of denigrating anything to do with GOD and concepts like holiness.
But still, wouldn't this forum be much more civil and informative if we gave atheist a place of their own?

>Atheism can be defined as the absence of both Religion and Spirituality
This definition is incorrect. Starting an arguement with a false premise negates your discussion.

have you ever observed that there is a Politics section, yet Yahoo would not extra segregate that and make subgroups for liberals and conservatives? it rather is why your suggestion fails, yet howdy, it somewhat is yahoo's employer. they are able to divide this in any way they want. it rather is too undesirable that would not dictate which sections i will or won't pass to. and that i does no longer pass to an atheist section, i might lots somewhat examine and reply to those that i do no longer already trust.

It cannot. Don't you mean we haven't spirituality? Also, what would atheist discuss on their own? Politics? Or will they just try to prove each other that God is nonexistent?
No. If you leave only believers in one place... they won't be any progressive.

It's funny how you would never find a Christian in the Science category angering atheists but always atheists shoving their beliefs in the Religion & Spirituality category

Atheism actually does not address spirituality in any way. See Buddhists.
Atheism is a religious positiuon, and thus belongs squarely right here.

No, I have Q&A about religion, I'm fine here. This is not a section for religious people (or any other group), nor is it a Christian section. Do you have Q&A about atheism?
Source(s): These questions all read as passive-aggressive "waaah atheists are harshing my delusional mellow and they should go away" whines. "It's funny how you would never find a Christian in the Science category" There are TONS of YECS in the science section (which has nothing to do with atheism) peddling their nonsense and TONS of Christian bigots in the LBGS section railing against homosexuals. Are you blinded by faith? - RMLv 49 years ago
How generous of you, giving us a place of our own!
But yes, I agree. Should have an atheist section.

Doesn't mean we don't read on religions. Hell it's been shown atheists know more about religion than the practitioners.

Then they would all agree with each other and nobody would think he could actually help others to think different. All the difficult topics on Answers are deliberately mixed and rightly too.

Too dangerous. The last time we left you without adult supervision we suffered the dark ages.
