Who do you think the rest the world wants to see elected as US President?

Much of the world is highly affected by US policy and leadership. Many have said that they wished they could vote in our elections, since the effect of our policies on their countries and lives is so strong.

All opinions welcome, but especially those who are citizens of other countries- who would you vote for if you could? Why do you pick that candidate?

Update:

Tall F, you misunderstand the global economy; somewhat like unions misunderstand business. Much of the global economy depends on ours. IF we do well- they do well. IF we do poorly- they do poorly. INdeed, our screw-up mortgage balloon has taken many other countries to the cleaners, because they were betting on us and we blew it. Or, at least- Bush blew it, and we are all paying for it. If you are so insecure as to kill the golden goose out of stupidity, you will find you have cut your own throat as well. Most Europeans are smarter than that, and frankly more mature than many of the jerks here who have plenty of insults but no legitimate arguments.

"An average of 50% favoured Mr Obama, with 9% for Mr Romney, in the survey of 21,797 people in 21 countries." From BBC link.

Second link, contrary to what 'Liberals LIE' think US enemies are NOT in favour of Obama - I wonder why this is?

I don't want to vote in US elections, ultimately it's a national endeavour - for instance if we participated in the US election in November, based on the stats below obviously Obama would win and that may do you out of having a president you truly deserve for good or bad. One must learn from one's experiences.

One criticism I do have, and forgive my forwardness, is that I believe it would do well for the US to pay more attention to events abroad - it helps build a more realistic picture of where you stand which may be quite pertinent in deciding who you're going to vote for. The US is doing pretty well compared to many other western economies, the first hit by the global recession to see a recovery, I think the US is the only country that is expecting everything to be fixed in a single 4 term. The economy is still growing (albeit at under 2%) whereas many others are stagnant or still in recession. The truth is that nowadays our economies are all intertwined none of us live in isolation so we should all maintain a wide-angled view.

Facts are facts. The world overwhelmingly supports Obama. That should tell you something. The world in general serves our economy, not the other way around. When you are at the top of the food chain, everyone wants to bring you down a peg or two. Obama is just the guy to make sure that the US is brought down to size globally. This should scare the p*ss out of any red blooded American. I myself like being at the top, and want my children to enjoy the same view from the top of the food chain, so I am voting for Romney who loves this country and wants to restore us to glory. As long as the US remains a force for good in the world why wouldn't EVERYONE want that?

Good question. A report of international polls just out quoted below:

"A number of polls show Barack Obama is the overwhelming favorite to win this election; that's among non-Americans. The Gallup Global Poll found Obama ahead by 81% to 19%. Another poll commissioned by the BBC and conducted in 21 countries showed Obama ahead 50% to 21%. The president was ahead everywhere except in Pakistan, where Romney edged ahead, but neither candidate was liked by even 20% of those questioned."

    (CNN News)

Note that these polls cover free countries, American allies, and have a very wide base.

When you are in the middle of something, you seldom see the whole event- the actor never sees the play, the player never sees the game... but the observers who are at a distance that allows them to see the bigger picture see it all. A lot of us are so buried in what we want to believe we can't see the forest for the trees.

I saw a bar graph which showed the opinions of 20 or so other countries on our election, and it was overwhelmingly pro-Obama. France bring the most supportive, and Pakistan being the only pro-Romney nation.

Source(s): http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/us-elect... has a summary of the graphic.

maximum folk have had it with the Bush administration. so as that they want a replace(Obama). They experience McCain is the picture of Bush. He has agreed with maximum folk of his rules. Obama is for the human beings. McCain is basically for white supremacist and religious freaks.

    Our enemies are supporting Oduma.

    Our allies are supporting Romney.

And liberals are so dumb they don't understand what that means. Their parents should be in prison for aborting the wrong ones.
