How long do cigarettes linger within a body?
I started smoking 3 years ago. After that, I developed asthma, etc. As rehabilitation, I play football (soccer) and jog. My question is, if I were to quit now, how long will it take my body to flush out all the chemicals?

It takes 2-3 days to get rid of the Nicotine. The chemicals/toxins .... Its hard to pin point since there is over a thousand.
I'd say around 2 weeks. But if you include the tar in your lungs it will take 3 weeks to hack all of it up.
