What's the best soundbar for a Samsung hd tv?
Looking for those experienced with them. If like to know which ones are junk and what the best is for the money...besides Bose, can't afford Bose, or I should say I choose not to.
@kahalil....
That doesn't help at all. I can think of many brands. Take your 2 points and go.

Any particular reason you want a sound bar? To answer your question I have read really good reviews for Yamaha's sound bar right around $239 price point. Many have been pleased. Another option believe it or not is a high powered clock radio 2.1. Cambridge soundworks 7 series has a powerful wall shaking clock radio with a down firing subwoofer. So good is this unit it needs to sit on speaker foam or a speaker stand. I have heard Cambridge and it is clear and powerful for movies and music. Another $169-$200 option would be Audiengine's A2 self powered speakers. I think if you look into these three options, you will find what you are looking for. Just be sure to take a listen, if not keep handy the receipt and box, no need to settle.
Best.

I have a vizio vsb200. About $60 at tigerdirect & newegg. Optical input plus 2 analog inputs. Subwoofer output, which i use.
It's the first soundbar I've ever had and I think it sounds very good for what it is. Sound is clear as a bell and can get pretty loud. Maybe you can find one at a store to demo. Good luck with it!
