Labeling foods with GMO's?
I've been researching the labeling of genetically modified organisms, prop 37 in California, recently for an assignment. I've looked at both sides of the argument and read about reasons why GMO's should and shouldn't be labeled. However, the majority of the findings from my research about the topic all focus on why GMO's should labeled. I'm curious to know what are some reasons why GMO's shouldnt be labeled or why we should vote no on prop 37 and not label food with GMO's.
All feedback is appreciated!
Thanks! (:

A HUGE YES! Anyone voting no on this proposition is simply IGNORANT of the facts. The only arguments given by the No's is it will cost lots of money or that GMO's are not dangerous.
Both arguments are not only evidence of IGNORANCE of the facts, but deceptive marketing by Monsanto that is afraid of the problem that happened to them in Europe and Asia!
Europe and Asia label GMO's and it has not increased costs, but it did eliminate them from the market because Europe & Asia have tested the garbage and found it causes all kinds of health problems. They call GMO's as FRANKENFOODS. Even the Monsanto employees have refused to allow GMO's to be served in their cafeterias!
Get the books called "Seeds of Deception" and "Genetic Roulette" by Jeffery Smith. Also get the new movie called "Genetic Roulette." Also look at the movie called "The Future of Food." Do your homework!
Does labeling other products make the price of those products more expensive? Cigarettes? Alcohol? Gas station warnings? That argument is simply ridiculous!
Voting YES on prop 37 will give everyone a choice. If you think GMO's are not a problem, you can go ahead and eat the garbage, but if you think GMO's are bad for your health then you can not buy that product. Now the manufacturer has a choice as well. Keep making that food or not. EVERYONE gets a choice. How is that bad? It's not BAD.
VOTE YES ON PROP 37!

Yes, provide the client the entire knowledge they must make the right option about what they are putting into their body. However big-Agra will not enable this. They possess all the correct humans. That is why congress watered down the county of origin law a few years ago.
