How do you feel about the UN monitoring the U.S. elections?

    It just baffles me why people say that the USA should pull out of the UN. If that were the case the US wouldn't have their voice heard, and decisions could be made about world events without US input.

    I understand that it's sometimes frustrating trying to get things done in the UN, but countries need to be heard on the world stage and in a forum with opposing opinions.

    I just think that when UN troops go on a mission, they shouldn't have their hands tied.

    As for monitoring elections. No big deal, I'm sure the US elections are above board.

    Since when have they paid no attention to elections in the US or anywhere? Do you even know what the UN does?

    We live in a free country. Our elections are monitored by news outlets, political parties, and independent observers already.

    Why should I care if someone else wants to monitor them?
