Yes, but you need to get some apps to take photo with that camera. I've talked about this in my previous answer here:

I have no experience of the Kindle yet but from the specs the Kindle HD 7" and 8.9" does have a front facing camera.but not a rear facing one
For operation read your user manual.

No. It does not have a camera.
The little circle lens looking thing...not a camera. It can't take a picture if it has no camera.
And those app rumors, not true. If it has no camera...an app won't magically give it a camera.
